handicap accessible workstationHANDICAP ACCESSIBLE WORKSTATION

To assure the accessibility of JobNet to as many job seekers as possible, the Division of Workforce Excellence (DWE), the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), the Bureau of Information Technology Services (BITS) and their customers, collaborated to design a universally accessible PC workstation.

The Fox Cities Workforce Development Center offers such a state-of-the-art workstation (pictured to the right).  This workstation features adjustable keyboard and monitor surfaces, and is outfitted with a variety of adaptable features such as:

  • Regular and glider mouse
  • Screen Reader (Jaws for Windows)
  • Screen Magnifier (ZoomText)
  • Voice Recognition Program (Conversa Web)
